SUBJECT TO CHANGE LLC is a cultural consulting firm specializing in strategy, operations, and event production. Love, Peace & Spades is a primary component, operating as a nationally recognized game night series that combines community engagement, education, partnerships, and event execution.
We are looking for a Business Operations Manager Intern to join our team. This role will focus on supporting and developing the operational infrastructure of the event series, ensuring efficient business practices, and contributing to long-term growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Efficiency:
- Assist in streamlining workflows, systems, and processes across business units. Support the implementation of project management (e.g., Trello) and reporting tools. Maintain internal databases, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
Administrative & Business Support:
- Draft, edit, and provide feedback on contracts, partnership agreements, and business reports.
- Assist with financial tracking, budget management, and expense reconciliations. Coordinate scheduling, communications, and logistics across multiple projects, involving team staff, coaches, and volunteers.
Event & Program Operations:
- Support operational planning for events, including vendor coordination, staff scheduling, and risk management.
- Assist in preparing compliance documents and operational guidelines.
- Track post-event performance metrics, survey results from community members and attendees, and operational guidelines.
Strategic Growth & Development:
- Research market trends, business opportunities, and operational best practices. Provide recommendations for scaling business operations and improving efficiency. Support leadership in preparing materials for stakeholders, advisors, and board meetings.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Highly skilled in written and verbal business communication.
- Proficient in Google Workspace; familiarity with project management software is preferred.
- Previous administrative, operations, or project management experience is a plus.
