Who Are We?

Our heatable, reusable body wipes are designed for adventurers, athletes, and anyone on the go. We’re a growing Southern California-based brand, and we’re excited to bring on an intern to help us tell our story and connect with our community.

Who Are You? 

We’re looking for a motivated college student with a passion for social media, content creation, and community engagement. You’ll work directly with the two founders to help manage and grow Shower Pouch’s presence across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and our company website. This is a hands-on role where your ideas will make a real impact.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day content posting across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and website updates
• Sales/Business Development with recreational merchants (e.g., Dick’s Sporting Goods), focusing on outreach and establishing connections.
• Create short-form video, photo, and written content aligned with our brand voice
• Track performance metrics (engagement, reach, etc.) and share learnings
• Assist with digital campaigns, influencer outreach, and storytelling projects
• Occasionally attend Southern California trade shows to capture content and represent the brand
• Meet with founders in person as needed (approx. 10% of the role)

Your Background 

• Currently enrolled college student in marketing, communications, or related field
• Passionate about social media and emerging digital trends
• Strong communication skills with creativity and attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently in a mostly remote role
• Bonus: Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or social media analytics tools
• Bonus: Willingness to learn or familiarity with TikTok Shop. Hands-on experience is a plus.

Subsidy Role Information 

Subsidy roles require students to have an Los Angeles County based address, and be between the ages of 16-24 years old. Once you are placed in a subsidy eligible position you will be required to present the following documents to processed in a Youth Center (AJCC):

• Identification (School or State ID)
• Social Security Card (Please ensure that it is signed)
• Birth Certificate
• Proof of Los Angeles County Residency, including a postmarked date (Report Card, Transcripts, or any mail that is under the applicant’s name)
• Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination OR valid medical/religious exemption
• Work Permit (Required for Youth between the ages of 16-17 only)
• The Youth Center (AJCC) WILL BE PAYING YOU for 160 completed hours.
• You will be required to submit Timesheets to your YOUTH CENTER (AJCC) to be paid for your time worked.
