Mercyful Creations, LLC is a certified Small, Minority Woman-Owned Animation/Entertainment Production Company and a Creative Services Provider located in Los Angeles, CA. We specialize in providing creative and artistic services for clients, government, local municipalities and others in the Government Procurement industry. We provide such specialized services as Graphic Design, Custom-made Logos/Brand Icons, motion graphics and other animation for film/video production, Marketing and Social Media content and other varied artwork. 


General Information About the Production Intern 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Production Intern to join our team. This internship is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced animation/entertainment production company. As a Production Intern, you will provide support to various departments, assist with daily tasks, and contribute to the smooth functioning of the production company. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, artistic, and eager to learn. 


What you will do: 

  • Administrative Support: Assist with daily office tasks such as organizing digital files of artwork, managing scripts/storyboards breakdowns, design lists and handling research for artists. 
  • Data Entry & Organization: Help maintain accurate and up-to-date breakdown lists, databases, and provide production reports for various departments in weekly production meetings. 
  • Document Preparation: Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other artwork, lists, and documents for internal and external use.
  • Project Assistance: Support team members with ongoing projects by performing research, gathering information, and assisting with logistics and follow-up tasks. 
  • Event Support: Help organize company events, meetings, and workshops, including coordinating logistics, and providing on-site support. 
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to help streamline processes, improve efficiency, and support day-to-day operations. 


What you should have: 

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with office software. 
  • A willingness to take on new tasks and learn quickly in a dynamic environment. 
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well with a diverse and artistic team. 
  • An enthusiastic attitude, with a passion for learning and contributing to a growing production company. 


More Details 

  • Location: [HYBRID] The production company is located in Los Angeles/Burbank at: 3800 Barham Blvd. Ste. #105, Los Angeles, CA 90068 and you will be required to attend in person once a week for a lecture, presentation of your weekly work assignments and labwork hours. The rest the week, it will be via remote.
  • Pay: $18.46/hour 
  • Start date: TBD
  • Hours per week: 15-20 hours per/week 
  • Duration: 8-10 Weeks 
  • There will be 1 day in which we will meet at a sound/recording studio for our Auditions/Casting/Recording Session for Voice-Over Actors 
  • If you have any artistic abilities, we encourage that you bring a digital reel or portable USB drive of your work in digital form (please do not attach all of your work but a select few so that we may see your variety of styles) so that we may evaluate your skills and delegate you to the appropriate mentor. 
  • If you do not have any artistic abilities, please share with us your specific abilities, dreams, job you are interested or you may find a suitable position in what we may offer during your internship. 
  • Our company is also looking for other technology positions such as cybersecurity, social media/mfarketing, information technology, AI interactions, database management, digital editing, and compositing.

LA County Subsidy Eligible Position Information 

Subsidy roles require students to have an LA County based address, and be between the ages of 18-24 years old. Once you are placed in a subsidy eligible position you will be required to present the following documents to processed in a Youth Center (AJCC):

  • Identification (School or State ID).
  • Social Security Card (Please ensure that it is signed).
  • Birth Certificate.
  • Proof of Los Angeles County Residency, including a postmarked date (Report Card, Transcripts, or any mail that is under the applicant’s name).
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination OR valid medical/religious exemption.
  • The Youth Center (AJCC) will be paying you for 160 completed hours.
  • You will be required to submit timesheets to your youth center (AJCC) to be paid for your time worked.


NOTE: IF YOU WERE ALREADY PLACED IN A SUBSIDY ELIGIBLE POSITION, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO QUALIFY FOR ANOTHER SUBSIDY ELIGIBLE POSITION UNTIL JULY 1ST, 2027.
