Who Are You?
We are seeking a driven and organized Sales & Business Development Rep to support our efforts in expanding Oya’s presence within the military community. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to grow sales while gaining experience in business development, marketing, and government outreach.
Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and apply for relevant military conferences, expos, and events.
- Assist with booth setup and event logistics.
- Track and manage military orders, leads, and outreach activities.
- Make sales and follow-up calls with potential partners and clients.
- Write and send professional emails to prospects and partners.
- Manage and update Oya’s LinkedIn presence to build credibility and visibility.
- Coordinate the shipment of samples and track conversion rates.
- Create marketing materials and graphics for outreach campaigns.
- Help ensure samples and outreach convert into measurable sales growth.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
- JROTC or prior military service
- An active and professional LinkedIn profile.
- Previous sales experience (inside sales, outreach, or business development).

Subsidy Role Information
Subsidy roles require students to have an LA County based address, and be between the ages of 18-24 years old. Once you are placed in a subsidy eligible position you will be required to present the following documents to processed in a Youth Center (AJCC):
- Identification (School or State ID)
- Social Security Card (Please ensure that it is signed)
- Birth Certificate
- Proof of Los Angeles County Residency, including a postmarked date (Report Card, Transcripts, or any mail that is under the applicant’s name)
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination OR valid medical/religious exemption
- The Youth Center (AJCC) WILL BE PAYING YOU for 160 completed hours.
- You will be required to submit Timesheets to your YOUTH CENTER (AJCC) to be paid for your time worked.
NOTE IF YOU WERE ALREADY PLACED IN A SUBSIDY POSITION (ACADEMY/INTERNSHIP). YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO QUALIFY FOR SUBSIDY ROLES UNTIL JULY 1ST
