Our mission is to alleviate financial stress. To support this, our app features an editorial section dedicated exclusively to providing valuable, actionable articles on personal finance, budgeting, and optimizing recurring expenses.
The Role: Defined Tasks and Deliverables
The Editorial & Content Writing Intern will be the primary engine for creating high-quality, trustworthy content focused on FinTech and consumer finance. This role demands the research skills of a journalist and the ability to simplify complex financial topics for a consumer audience.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
1. Financial Literacy Reporting & Ideation

Expert Topic Research (Weekly Deliverable): Conduct thorough research on consumer finance trends, best practices for budgeting, saving on recurring expenses, the subscription economy, and debt management.

Concept Pitching: Propose a minimum of 5 new, original article concepts each week centered on themes like subscription optimization, smart spending, tackling "subscription fatigue," and utilizing Bundul's split-payment feature for budgeting.

Fact-Checking & Integrity: Ensure the highest level of accuracy. Locate and integrate credible statistics, savings data, expert quotes, and verifiable financial figures to support all claims.
2. Content Drafting & Production

Article Drafting (Weekly Output): Write and submit 5 finished, long-form articles per week (300–500 words each). Articles must be clear, engaging, and specifically translate complex financial concepts into actionable, easy-to-read advice for a consumer audience.

Editorial Quality Control: Rigorously proofread all drafts for grammatical accuracy, financial clarity, and strict adherence to Bundul’s established editorial and compliance guidelines.

CMS Preparation: Select and prepare appropriate, legally-sourced visuals/images, format content, and apply necessary SEO keywords/tags to prepare articles for timely publishing in the Content Management System (CMS).
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Journalism, Communications, Finance, or a related field with a strong focus on editorial work.
- Required: Demonstrated strong interest in, or foundational knowledge of, personal finance, budgeting principles, and FinTech topics.
- Exceptional writing and research portfolio demonstrating the ability to simplify complex data into compelling consumer-facing articles.
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting strict editorial deadlines in a remote or hybrid environment.
