SUBJECT TO CHANGE LLC is a cultural consulting firm specializing in strategy, operations, and event production. Love, Peace & Spades is a primary component, operating as a nationally recognized game night series that combines community engagement, education, partnerships, and event execution.
We are looking for a Social Media Manager Intern to join our team. This role will focus on supporting and developing the operational infrastructure of the event series, ensuring efficient business practices, and contributing to long-term growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Systems:
- Develop and implement an executable posting system (e.g., content calendar, scheduling, workflows).
- Create and enforce best practices for consistent brand representation across platforms. Track performance metrics and adjust strategies to maximize growth and engagement.
Content Creation & Video Editing:
- Capture, edit, and produce original video content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Edit reels, shorts, and long-form content to align with platform trends and audience expectations.
- Design graphics and visual assets to support video and narrative storytelling and brand identity.
- Ensure all content is high-quality, engaging, and optimized for platform algorithms.
Audit & Optimization:
- Conduct a full audit of existing social media practices to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities.
- Implement improvements to strengthen digital presence and engagement. Introduce efficient workflows and habits to ensure long-term consistency.
Community Engagement:
- Manage comments, DMs, and mentions to maintain positive audience interaction. Build relationships with followers, collaborators, and cultural partners.
- Create engagement campaigns to set our platforms apart from competitors.
Qualifications:
- Experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content strategy. Video editing skills (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar tools). Skilled in content creation for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Knowledge of platform-specific algorithms, trends, and best practices.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Creative, adaptable, and culturally aware—able to translate Love, Peace & Spades’ brand and mission into a strong understanding of storytelling and digital voice. Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations degree is a plus in this role.
