Creative Content Creator & Digital Advertising Intern 

We are looking for a creative Content Creator and Digital Marketing Intern who is passionate about building community and a keen interest in staying updated with fashion industry trends. 

Responsible for: 

• Create engaging and visually appealing content, including photos, videos, reels, graphics, and written copy, that aligns with our brand identity and resonates with our audience to be used in various mediums. 
• Monitor social media channels for trends, news, and conversations relevant to our industry, and leverage opportunities for engagement. 
• Interact with followers + target clients; and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align social media efforts with overall business goals and inventory 
• Analyze social media performance metrics (e.g., reach, engagement, conversion rates) and provide regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to continually optimize our social media strategy.
• Design and Manage paid social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, and performance tracking with support from the internal team.
• Stay informed about changes to social media algorithms and adjust strategies accordingly to maintain optimal reach and engagement.

Desired skills: 

• Experience in graphic design, digital marketing and content creation
• Proficient in video editing and content creation for social media using AI. Canva experience preferred as well.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook 
• Ability to create visually appealing and engaging content with various apps
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills
• Experience conducting interviews and managing influencer relationships
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 

Responsibilities: 

• This role involves creating compelling storyboards for use in our content calendar and email marketing and on our online platforms. 
• Edit product photos needed for campaigns using AI 
• Scheduling 3 Instagram Reels a week, daily Instagram Stories, and bi-weekly newsletter/eblasts 
• Develop engaging and creative storyboards for video content 
• Repost influencer content and bring in more influencers to work with KENDI AMANI 
• Manage relationships with influencers and coordinate influencer marketing strategies
• Collaborate with the internal team to ensure brand consistency 
• Monitor social media trends and adjust strategies accordingly

LA County Subsidy Eligible Position Information 

Subsidy roles require students to have an LA County based address, and be between the ages of 18-24 years old. Once you are placed in a subsidy eligible position you will be required to present the following documents to processed in a Youth Center (AJCC):

• Identification (School or State ID).
• Social Security Card (Please ensure that it is signed).
• Birth Certificate.
• Proof of Los Angeles County Residency, including a postmarked date (Report Card, Transcripts, or any mail that is under the applicant’s name).
• Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination OR valid medical/religious exemption.
• The Youth Center (AJCC) will be paying you for 160 completed hours.
• You will be required to submit timesheets to your youth center (AJCC) to be paid for your time worked.

NOTE: IF YOU WERE ALREADY PLACED IN A SUBSIDY ELIGIBLE POSITION, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO QUALIFY FOR ANOTHER SUBSIDY ELIGIBLE POSITION UNTIL JULY 1ST.
