Project Manager Intern: 

SUBJECT TO CHANGE LLC | Love, Peace & Spades 


Location: Los Angeles, California 

Position: Hybrid: Remote + In-Person 

Compensation: $17.87 | Up to 160 Hours | Temporary Internship  


About Us 

SUBJECT TO CHANGE LLC is a cultural consulting firm specializing in strategy, operations, and event production. Love, Peace & Spades is a flagship initiative—an internationally recognized game night and cultural platform that blends community engagement, education, partnerships, and immersive experiences. 


We are seeking a Project Manager Intern to support planning, coordination, and execution across multiple initiatives. This role is ideal for someone highly organized, deadline-driven, and interested in managing projects at the intersection of culture, community, and operations. 


Key Responsibilities 

Project Planning & Coordination 

  • Support the planning and execution of short- and long-term projects across events, programming, and internal initiatives. 
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, task lists, and milestones using tools such as Trello, Notion, or Google Workspace. 
  • Track deliverables and ensure projects stay on schedule and within scope.


Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Coordinate communication between internal team members, volunteers, vendors, and external partners. 
  • Assist with meeting preparation, agenda creation, note-taking, and follow-ups.
  • Ensure accountability by tracking action items and progress updates. 


Event & Program Management 

  • Support project management for live events, workshops, and community programs.
  • Assist with logistics coordination, run-of-show documents, and staffing schedules.
  • Help identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and support day-of execution. 


Reporting & Documentation 

  • Maintain organized project documentation, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
  • Track project performance metrics, timelines, and post-project evaluations.
  • Assist in compiling reports and presentations for leadership, partners, and stakeholders. 


Qualifications 

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. 
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace; familiarity with project management tools is strongly preferred. 
  • Interest in community-based work, cultural programming, or event production is a plus.

LA County Subsidy Eligible Position Information 


Subsidy roles require students to have an LA County based address, and be between the ages of 18-24 years old. Once you are placed in a subsidy eligible position you will be required to present the following documents to processed in a Youth Center (AJCC):


  • Identification (School or State ID).
  • Social Security Card (Please ensure that it is signed).
  • Birth Certificate.
  • Proof of Los Angeles County Residency, including a postmarked date (Report Card, Transcripts, or any mail that is under the applicant’s name).
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination OR valid medical/religious exemption.
  • The Youth Center (AJCC) will be paying you for 160 completed hours.
  • You will be required to submit timesheets to your youth center (AJCC) to be paid for your time worked.


NOTE: IF YOU WERE ALREADY PLACED IN A SUBSIDY ELIGIBLE POSITION, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO QUALIFY FOR ANOTHER SUBSIDY ELIGIBLE POSITION UNTIL JULY 1ST.
