About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented, proactive intern to support our Events Sales & Operations team. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in operations, event planning, and the internal systems that keep a boutique event space running smoothly.


Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain our Google Drive, ensuring files and folders are structured and up to date
  • Help keep our SOPs documented, organized, and up to date
  • Support the team with tracking and reconciling event expenses
  • Help track and report on proposal and booking status to support the team's pipeline
  • Support the concierge team on the day of events, including guest check-in and general event coordination

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work some evenings and weekends for event support
  • Interest in events, hospitality, or operations
  • Prior experience with Google Workspace a plus, experience with Perfect Venue or similar event software is a bonus but not required

Subsidy Role Information 


Subsidy roles require students to have an Los Angeles County based address, and be between the ages of 18-24 years old. Once you are placed in a subsidy eligible position you will be required to present the following documents to processed in a Youth Center (AJCC):

  • Identification (School or State ID)
  • Social Security Card (Please ensure that it is signed)
  • Birth Certificate
  • Proof of Los Angeles County Residency, including a postmarked date (Report Card, Transcripts, or any mail that is under the applicant’s name)
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination OR valid medical/religious exemption
  • Work Permit (Required for Youth between the ages of 16-17 only)
  • The Youth Center (AJCC) WILL BE PAYING YOU for 160 completed hours.
  • You will be required to submit Timesheets to your YOUTH CENTER (AJCC) to be paid for your time worked.
