Company Overview

Flute is a mobile platform that connects venues, brands, and consumers to drive sales, enhance operational efficiency, and collect real-time data. We offer brands a unique way to form direct relationships with consumers by sponsoring personal moments. Flute simplifies product sampling by enabling brands to fund consumer-led activations at retailers and venues—turning everyday experiences into powerful brand engagements.

About the Role

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Intern with graphic design skills to support the execution of Flute’s marketing strategy across social media, email, and digital platforms. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing and design at an early-stage startup working at the intersection of consumer brands, hospitality, and fan engagement.

Note: Due to potential involvement in alcohol-related campaigns and activations, applicants must be 21 years of age or older.

What You'll Do

  • Design and create visually compelling content for social media, email campaigns, and digital ads
  • Assist in managing and scheduling posts across Flute’s social channels (Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Support brand storytelling through design, layout, and content development
  • Conduct research on marketing trends, competitor content, and audience behavior
  • Help identify and engage influencers, creators, and partner brands
  • Track and report on performance metrics for social media and email campaigns
  • Maintain and organize digital asset libraries (photos, videos, creative files)
  • Participate in mentorship, job shadowing, and career development activities

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong graphic design skills; proficiency in tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), or Figma
  • A passion for social media, branding, and digital storytelling
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Later) or email platforms is a plus
  • Interest in startups, consumer brands, live events, or tech is a bonus

Equal Opportunity Employer

We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status. We encourage all to apply - you will be welcomed and included as our team member and valued for your contributions and who you are!
