Partnerships Intern

Affirmation Darling is a mission-driven wellness and lifestyle brand rooted in lived experience. What began as a survival tool during homelessness has grown into a nationally recognized brand, featured by companies like Soho House, NBCUniversal, Thrive Causemetics, Create & Cultivate and EDC. We’ve donated over 800 affirmation products to shelters and community organizations, and our collection is now stocked in 70+ boutiques across 8 countries.
Position Overview
We're seeking a proactive and organized Partnerships Intern to support outreach strategy, relationship building, and communication across wholesale, gifting, events, and press. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who loves systems, research, and building genuine connections — and who is eager to contribute to a high-impact, purpose-led CPG brand. This internship is ideal for someone looking to build real-world skills in outreach, partnership development, and communications while working closely with a founder. Special focus will be placed on building and activating a corporate gifting pipeline for Q4, helping us pitch our product line to companies, brands, and community partners in advance of the fall season.
Responsibilities
● Build corporate gifting contact lists — HR teams, DEI leads, wellness coordinators, event managers
● Identify aligned influencers, therapists, podcast hosts, buyers, and press contacts
● Collect contact details, brand alignment notes, and engagement stats
● Maintain a structured contact tracker in Google Sheets or Notion
● Write personalized outreach emails across 5 verticals: influencer gifting, corporate gifting, wholesale, workshops, and event collaborations
● Follow brand tone and outreach templates provided by the founder
● Organize all drafts for weekly review and feedback
Ideal Candidate
● Naturally organized — loves building systems
● Emotionally intelligent communicator — builds relationships, not just contacts
● Strong written communication, especially for cold outreach
● Proactive and independent — moves without being chased
● Familiar with Claude, ChatGPT, Canva, Klaviyo, Substack, Trello (or eager to learn)

LA County Subsidy Eligible Position Information
Subsidy roles require students to have an LA County based address, and be between the ages of 18-24 years old. Once you are placed in a subsidy eligible position you will be required to present the following documents to processed in a Youth Center (AJCC):
