Project Manager Intern
JOB OVERVIEW
We’re looking for a Project Manager Intern who’s excited to help organize creative work that drives real-world impact. You’ll work closely with our Founder to support client projects—from early planning to final delivery. This is a hands on, mentorship-focused role where you’ll build project management skills while helping bring meaningful work to life for mission-driven organizations.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Assist with Project Coordination: Organize timelines, milestones, and deliverables across client projects.

Coordinate with Creative Teams: Support collaboration between designers, developers, and partners to keep projects moving forward.

Track Project Progress: Monitor deadlines, tasks, and project updates.

Support Client and Team Communication: Prepare meeting agendas, capture notes, and help maintain clear communication between the team and clients.

Maintain Project Documentation: Organize files, feedback, and revisions throughout the creative process.

Improve Systems and Workflows: Assist with refining internal tools and processes as the agency continues to grow.

Collaborate with the Team: Work alongside the creative team to help deliver thoughtful, high-quality work on schedule.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- A highly organized and detail-oriented individual who enjoys bringing structure to creative work
- Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate across teams
- Interest in project management, creative agencies, or working with nonprofit organizations
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and tracking of timelines and priorities
- Curious, proactive, and open to learning through mentorship
- Ability to stay calm and solutions-oriented when solving problems or navigating deadlines
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Email, Sheets, Docs, etc); familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Notion, Asana, ClickUp, Monday.com is a plus.

Most importantly: You care about supporting organizations that are working to improve communities and the world
NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT REQUIRED:
- Knowledge of social impact topics (e.g. climate and social justice, health equity, civic engagement, green energy)
- Interest in project management within creative, marketing, or design environments
- Experience organizing projects, events, or student initiatives
- Experience working with nonprofits, school organizations, or community initiatives
- Comfort with documentation, spreadsheets, or task tracking tools
- Comfort with basic presentation design (e.g. PowerPoint, Google Slides)

LA County Subsidy Eligible Position Information
Subsidy roles require students to have an LA County based address, and be between the ages of 18-24 years old. Once you are placed in a subsidy eligible position you will be required to present the following documents to processed in a Youth Center (AJCC):
- Identification (School or State ID).
- Social Security Card (Please ensure that it is signed).
- Birth Certificate.
- Proof of Los Angeles County Residency, including a postmarked date (Report Card, Transcripts, or any mail that is under the applicant’s name).
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination OR valid medical/religious exemption.
- The Youth Center (AJCC) will be paying you for 160 completed hours.
- You will be required to submit timesheets to your youth center (AJCC) to be paid for your time worked.
NOTE: IF YOU WERE ALREADY PLACED IN A SUBSIDY ELIGIBLE POSITION, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO QUALIFY FOR ANOTHER SUBSIDY ELIGIBLE POSITION UNTIL JULY 1ST.
