Who Are You? 

 

We’re seeking a talented Graphic Designer with a passion for creating visually engaging content across digital platforms. You’ll be responsible for shaping Flute’s visual identity through high-quality designs for social media, marketing campaigns, and brand materials. This is a hands-on opportunity to apply your creative skills at an early-stage startup working at the intersection of consumer brands, hospitality, and fan engagement.

  • Note: Due to potential involvement in alcohol-related campaigns, applicants must be 21+.


Key Responsibilities

 

  • Design visually compelling graphics for social media, email campaigns, websites, and digital ads
  • Develop creative concepts that align with Flute’s brand voice and marketing goals
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to produce cohesive visuals for campaigns and promotions
  • Maintain consistency in brand style across all platforms and materials
  • Create assets for influencer partnerships, brand collaborations, and event activations
  • Organize and manage digital asset libraries (photos, videos, design files)
  • Stay updated on design trends, tools, and best practices to enhance visual impact

 

Qualifications


  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or Figma; Canva experience is a plus
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and visual composition
  • Ability to translate brand strategy into compelling visual designs
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and openness to feedback
  • Experience creating content for multiple digital platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, email) preferred
  • Interest in startups, consumer brands, live events, or tech is a bonus

 

Position Summary

 

  • The Graphic Designer intern is to shape Flute’s visual identity through engaging designs across social, digital, and marketing platforms. This role offers the opportunity to develop cohesive brand visuals and campaigns at an early-stage startup at the intersection of consumer brands, hospitality, and fan engagement.
  • Remote
  •  Open to 21-24 hrs 
  • Duration: 160 hours
  • Hours Per Week: 20 hours
  • Pay: $17.87


LA County Subsidy Eligible Position Information 


Subsidy roles require students to have an LA County based address, and be between the ages of 18-24 years old. Once you are placed in a subsidy eligible position you will be required to present the following documents to processed in a Youth Center (AJCC):


  • Identification (School or State ID).
  • Social Security Card (Please ensure that it is signed).
  • Birth Certificate.
  • Proof of Los Angeles County Residency, including a postmarked date (Report Card, Transcripts, or any mail that is under the applicant’s name).
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination OR valid medical/religious exemption.
  • The Youth Center (AJCC) will be paying you for 160 completed hours.
  • You will be required to submit timesheets to your youth center (AJCC) to be paid for your time worked.


NOTE: IF YOU WERE ALREADY PLACED IN A SUBSIDY ELIGIBLE POSITION, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO QUALIFY FOR ANOTHER SUBSIDY ELIGIBLE POSITION UNTIL JULY 1ST.
