Role Overview

This role supports a major SAP S/4HANA transformation program within Agile Scrum teams focused on the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process.

Within this program, the full end-to-end process is referred to as “Plan-to-Pay.” Plan-to-Pay extends beyond standard procurement execution to include demand planning, funding alignment, procurement strategy, purchasing, goods receipt, invoice verification, and vendor payment across the enterprise.

You will work in an Agile delivery environment supporting the migration to SAP S/4HANA, translating real-world procurement and financial operations into scalable SAP solutions. This role requires hands-on experience with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes within a broader Plan-to-Pay context. Candidates may come from different SAP module backgrounds (MM, TM, EWM, etc.), but must demonstrate practical experience supporting end-to-end procurement and payment workflows.

What You Will Deliver

• Functional analysis and SAP configuration supporting Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Plan-to-Pay process flows
• Active participation in Agile Scrum delivery (user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog refinement)
• Translation of procurement, planning, and financial requirements into SAP S/4HANA solutions
• Cross-functional integration support across SAP MM, FI (Accounts Payable), TM, and EWM
• SIT/UAT support, defect triage, and go-live readiness activities
• Process documentation and knowledge transfer to support ongoing delivery



Candidate Profile

We are targeting candidates with both strong SAP functional skills and real process understanding.

Core Profile (Preferred)

• SAP MM Functional Consultant
• Hands-on experience with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes
• Clear understanding of how procurement execution fits within a broader Plan-to-Pay lifecycle

Adjacent Profile (Acceptable)

• Background in SAP TM, EWM, or related logistics modules
• Must demonstrate experience supporting or integrating with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) workflows within Plan-to-Pay environments

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen (no dual citizenship); T3 clearance required (Public Trust)
• 3+ years of SAP functional experience
• Demonstrated experience with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes
• Familiarity with broader Plan-to-Pay process environments
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments
• Ability to write functional specifications and contribute to sprint planning

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA certification in MM or a related module
• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA migrations or SAP Activate methodology
• Prior experience with federal, defense, or large-scale ERP programs (Plan-to-Pay environments strongly preferred)
• Background in procurement, logistics, or financial operations

Growth Path

• Early: Contribute to Agile sprints within the P2P / Plan-to-Pay functional area; build S/4HANA expertise
• Mid: Lead functional workstreams; own design decisions; mentor junior team members
• Future: Progress into Functional Architect, Scrum Lead, or Subject Matter Expert roles
