Test Automation Engineer

As Test Automation Engineer you will design the automation layer that proves our solutions work the first time, so clients in logistics, SAP, and federal programs can deploy faster and with less risk.

Performance Objectives

• Build and maintain automated test suites that cover 80% of critical user journeys within the first 90 days.
• Cut regression-cycle time by at least 50% by integrating tests into Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions pipelines.
• Surface and close 95% of defects before production release across UiPath, Power Platform, and custom applications.
• Deliver reusable test frameworks that new team members can extend with less than one day of onboarding.
• Produce monthly quality dashboards that give project leads clear go/no-go data for client deliveries.
• Partner with developers to shift testing left so defects found after sprint review drop by 40%.

Environment & Resources

You report to the QA Practice Lead and work inside a 6-person quality squad supporting multiple client engagements. You will have licenses for UiPath Test Suite, Selenium, Playwright, and Azure Test Plans plus a modest annual budget for additional tools or training. Most work is remote with occasional Houston or client-site collaboration.

Essential Qualifications

• 5+ years designing and executing automated tests for web, API, and RPA solutions.
• Hands-on experience with UiPath, Power Platform, or equivalent low-code automation platforms.
• Proven ability to embed tests in CI/CD pipelines and report results that influence release decisions.
• Track record of reducing manual testing effort while raising coverage on enterprise or government projects.
• Clear written and verbal communication that translates technical findings into client-ready status.
