About Resolute Solutions

Resolute Solutions builds automation and AI systems that contribute to National Security. Our technical foundation spans SAP enterprise systems, UiPath automation, and applied AI — deployed for the Department of Defense and federal agencies who depend on solutions that work under real operational pressure. We're not building demos; we're building infrastructure that missions depend on.

We are a certified SDVOSB, HUBZone, and 8(a) small business with deep expertise in SAP ERP and federal data environments. We are a high-performance team that values builders over talkers. If you want hands-on work that compounds into real expertise, surrounded by people who take ownership and move fast — you'll fit here.

Role Overview

We are hiring Database Specialists at two levels to support Navy ERP (SAP ECC / S4HANA) database operations across production and non-production environments serving U.S. Navy financial management systems. These roles span data support and reporting at the entry level through full database administration, performance tuning, and data architecture at the senior level.

Level I is built for analysts with SQL fundamentals and a DoD background who are ready to grow into enterprise ERP data environments. You don't need deep DBA experience yet — but you need to be precise, reliable, and technically curious. Data quality and user support are not glamorous work, but they're mission-critical here.

Level II is for experienced database administrators who have owned production environments, responded to real incidents, and understand what it means to keep a DoD system running under pressure. You operate independently, escalate intelligently, and leave systems better than you found them.

Neither level is a passive monitoring role. Both require direct engagement with data issues, documentation discipline, and accountability to program delivery timelines.

What You Will Deliver

At Level I, you will be accountable for:

  • Accurate, timely data extracts, queries, and reports that respond to program team requests without rework
  • Clean data entry and validation outputs in SAP production and non-production environments
  • Maintained data dictionaries, master data records, and mapping documentation the team can trust
  • Helpdesk ticket resolutions related to data access and reporting issues, closed with documented root cause
  • Monthly and quarterly data audit support that keeps Navy financial reporting reconciliations on schedule

At Level II, you will be accountable for:

  • Stable, optimized database environments with performance tuning and capacity planning executed proactively
  • Backup and recovery procedures that meet DoD RTO/RPO standards — tested, documented, and reliable
  • Data models and schema designs for new functionality that are built right the first time
  • Database security configurations and audit logging maintained in compliance with DISA STIG requirements
  • Tier 2/3 incident resolution that is fast, thorough, and documented for future reference

Growth Path

Level I — Early (0–12 months): You'll build SAP data environment fluency and DoD data management fundamentals while owning helpdesk-tier data support and quality operations.

Level I → Level II (12–24 months): High performers who demonstrate technical depth and reliability will take on database administration responsibilities, moving from support functions into ownership of data infrastructure.

Level II — Growth (1–2 years): Expanded scope across database environments, deeper architecture involvement, and increasing ownership of data migration and lifecycle management activities.

Level II → Senior DBA / Data Architect (2–3 years): Top performers advance into senior database architecture or technical lead roles with cross-environment responsibility and junior team mentorship.

Required Qualifications

Level I

  • 1–3 years of database or data analysis experience in a government or DoD environment
  • Working knowledge of SQL (SELECT statements, joins, basic queries)
  • Active Tier 3 (Secret) clearance — mandatory at time of hire
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Basic understanding of relational database concepts
  • U.S. Citizen (no dual citizenship)

Level II

  • 4–7 years of database administration experience with SAP HANA, Oracle, or MS SQL Server
  • Hands-on experience with SAP HANA Studio, DBA Cockpit, or equivalent administration tooling strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated federal government or DoD program experience required
  • Active Tier 3 (Secret) clearance — mandatory at time of hire
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Strong SQL and scripting skills applied to automation and routine maintenance tasks
  • U.S. Citizen (no dual citizenship)

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP reporting experience: BW, Report Painter, ABAP Query, or standard SAP transactions (Level I)
  • SAP HANA, SAP Basis, or SAP Solution Manager certification (Level II)
  • Oracle DBA OCP or Microsoft SQL Server MCSA/MCSE certification (Level II)
  • Knowledge of DoD database STIG hardening requirements
  • Experience with Navy ERP, DAI, GCSS-Army, or similar DoD ERP database environments
  • Familiarity with Navy financial management or DoD accounting data structures
  • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Data+, or entry-level database certification (Level I)
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM ticketing systems
  • Background in SAP BW/BI or data warehouse administration

This Role Is / Is Not

This role IS:

  • Hands-on data operations and/or database administration inside a live DoD ERP program
  • A meaningful entry point into — or advancement within — a federal data and SAP career
  • A role where accuracy, documentation, and reliability are directly tied to mission outcomes

This role is NOT:

  • A general IT support or desktop technician position
  • A data science or analytics research role
  • Suitable for candidates without an active Secret clearance at time of hire

Why Join Us

Resolute Solutions gives you direct access to enterprise-scale SAP database environments supporting one of the most operationally complex financial systems in the federal government. You'll develop technical depth that takes years to accumulate elsewhere, work alongside experienced SAP and DoD practitioners, and grow on a path that rewards performance — not tenure.
