Role Overview

We are hiring a Data Analytics & Reporting SME to support the Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS) — a SAP S/4HANA implementation that is transforming how USTRANSCOM manages finances and transportation logistics for the Department of Defense.

In this role, you'll be the go-to person for data — owning analytics workflows, building reports and dashboards that give stakeholders real visibility, and making sure the data flowing through the system is accurate and trustworthy. You'll work across teams, translate complex data needs into actionable outputs, and bring the kind of Alteryx depth that makes large-scale ERP data manageable.

This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role. You'll be working with large datasets in a high-stakes federal environment where data quality and reporting accuracy directly affect financial auditability and operational decision-making.

What You Will Deliver

• Complex Alteryx workflows designed, built, and maintained for data preparation, blending, and analysis — automated, documented, and built to last
• In-depth data analysis that surfaces trends, patterns, and insights stakeholders can act on
• Reports and dashboards that communicate data-driven findings clearly to both technical teams and executive-level audiences
• Data quality controls embedded into workflows, with corrective actions implemented proactively — not reactively
• Strategic data management and integration executed successfully across the program
• Business process and workflow analysis that identifies real opportunities for improvement through better use of data
• Cross-functional collaboration with program, functional, and technical teams to understand their data needs and deliver outputs that match them.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics with a strong focus on Alteryx, preferably in government or defense sectors
• Advanced proficiency in Alteryx Designer and Alteryx Server
• Extensive experience with ERP systems, particularly in implementation and data migration contexts
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Experience supporting large-scale data migration projects
• Strong understanding of data governance principles, practices, and tools
• Knowledge of metadata management and data cataloging solutions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills — comfortable presenting plans and strategies to executive-level stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Operations Research, or related field
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
• U.S. Citizen (no dual citizenship).

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with DoD logistics systems — USTRANSCOM, transportation, or supply chain environments
• SAP expertise, particularly in public sector or DoD programs
• Agile certification (SAFe) and experience working in an Agile delivery environment
• Direct experience with commercial and federal supply chain best practices
