Senior Project Manager

What You’ll Lead

Project Financial Performance

• Manage large and complex projects to meet or exceed financial projections
• Track labor and cost performance, taking early corrective action when needed
• Deliver accurate and timely cost projections
• Oversee cost code tracking and change order strategy
• Protect margin through disciplined financial oversight

 Schedule & Quality Execution

• Develop and maintain comprehensive construction schedules
• Ensure sequencing and execution are aligned across all trades
• Identify and resolve scheduling challenges proactively
• Support superintendents and field teams in real-time problem solving
• Uphold the highest standards of workmanship and quality control

Client & Relationship Leadership

• Serve as primary client contact on major projects
• Provide proactive communication on progress and risk
• Manage expectations related to scope, cost, and timeline
• Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams
• Protect and expand long-term client partnerships

Preconstruction & Planning

• Collaborate closely on drawing, spec, and estimate reviews
• Identify and mitigate risk before construction begins
• Build detailed schedules and resource plans
• Review subcontractor and vendor submittals for compliance

Documentation & Controls

• Maintain accurate project documentation and billing
• Ensure approvals for out-of-scope work are secured
• Oversee RFIs, meeting documentation, and reporting
• Ensure PM software remains accurate and up-to-date

Mentorship & Organizational Impact

• Mentor and develop Project Managers and interns
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture
• Improve processes and systems to support company growth
• Stay active in the construction community and maintain strong industry relationships

Safety Leadership

• Champion and reinforce safety culture at every stage
• Identify training needs and implement best practices
• Ensure safety standards are consistently upheld across projects

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Significant experience in commercial construction project management
• Proven track record managing complex projects and satisfied clients
• Strong financial acumen and risk management capability
• Ability to deliver projects on schedule and within budget
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated team leadership and mentorship experience
• Strong relationships within the local construction community preferred
