Account Manager – Industrial New Markets | Eastern US

Presented by Melloy Search Group

Are you a technically savvy sales professional with deep roots in industrial markets and a track record of building meaningful client relationships? We're working with a growing industrial technology company seeking a driven Account Manager to own and expand a portfolio of accounts across the Eastern United States — with a strong focus on the oil & gas, paper, and data center markets.

This is a remote, high-autonomy role with uncapped earning potential and a clear path to making a real impact in a company that's actively expanding its reach.

What's in It for You

  • Full benefits including medical, dental, vision, HSA with employer contributions, and 401(k) with match
  • Remote flexibility — work from home with travel to client sites and industry events
  • A collaborative, cross-functional team that backs you up and helps you win

What You'll Be Doing

You'll own a book of business across the Eastern US, with a primary focus on oil & gas, paper, and data center accounts. You'll build relationships at multiple levels within customer organizations, uncover needs, align solutions, and close business. You'll manage a multi-quarter pipeline, provide accurate forecasting to leadership, coordinate internal resources to ensure customer success, and stay sharp on the industry trends shaping your key markets. You're not just selling — you're solving.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years in direct technical sales or account management in an industrial environment
  • Experience selling into oil & gas, paper/pulp, data centers, or adjacent markets such as chemical plants, water/wastewater, or metals/mining
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and the full MS Office suite
  • Comfortable with a commission-based comp structure and motivated by performance
  • Located east of the Mississippi River, within reasonable distance of a major airport
  • Strong communicator, highly organized, and able to work autonomously

A bachelor's degree in engineering or business is a plus, as is prior remote sales experience.

Why This Opportunity

This company has a strong reputation in the industrial space and is actively growing its Eastern US footprint in some of today's most active markets — oil & gas, paper, and data centers. You'll have the resources of an established organization behind you with the feel of a nimble, entrepreneurial team. If you're looking for a role where your effort directly drives your income and your impact is visible, this is it.
