Our client is a mission-driven organization supporting nonprofit partners within the health and human services sector, strengthening operational infrastructure to better serve communities and steward critical funding. Within this work, the Procurement Manager plays a key role in ensuring that procurement practices are not only compliant, but strategic, efficient, and aligned with the broader mission of each organization served. Operating within complex, grant-funded environments, this role helps safeguard public and private resources while enhancing systems, vendor partnerships, and overall accountability.
The Procurement Manager will lead procurement and vendor management efforts across multiple nonprofit client environments, overseeing purchasing, contracting, and compliance with federal, state, and local funding requirements, including 2 CFR 200 Uniform Guidance. This individual will serve as a trusted partner to client leadership and internal teams, providing insight, strengthening processes, and, where needed, guiding a small support team to ensure consistency and quality in execution. The ideal candidate brings a hands-on, detail-oriented approach, strong judgment, and the ability to influence stakeholders while advancing procurement practices within complex, mission-oriented organizations
Location, Compensation and Benefits
This is a hybrid role based in Chicago, IL. Additional travel may be required at the discretion of the Company. Travel is typically local to client sites within the Greater Chicagoland area, with occasional out-of-state travel as needed.
The salary for this role is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level, and years of relevant experience. The salary range for this position is $100,000 – $125,000. This role also includes a comprehensive benefits package.
