Our client is seeking a skilled technician to join our advanced manufacturing team. This role is centered on the operation of automated welding systems, where you will be responsible for the entire workflow from material preparation to final quality assurance. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual with a strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to producing high-quality components in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Operation: Program, set up, and run robotic welding cells to perform precise welds on various metal assemblies based on blueprints and technical specifications.
• Material Handling: Safely and efficiently load raw materials into fixtures and unload finished components, ensuring proper alignment for optimal weld integrity.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct in-process and post-weld inspections to identify defects, measure tolerances, and guarantee all products meet stringent quality benchmarks.
• Process Support & Troubleshooting: Perform hands-on tasks including grinding, fitting, and light fabrication to support the robotic process. Proactively identify and resolve minor technical issues with equipment and fixtures to minimize downtime.
• Workplace Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area, adhering to all 5S and safety protocols to ensure a productive environment for all team members.
• Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to process optimization by recommending adjustments to welding parameters, fixture design, or workflow to enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with exposure to robotic or automated welding systems. An equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered.

Technical Skills:

• Proven ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of weld quality standards and defect identification.
• Proficiency with basic hand and power tools (grinders, cutters, measuring devices).
• Commitment to upholding all safety standards and procedures.
