Responsibilities:
- Configure and set up complex manufacturing machinery to ensure optimal production efficiency.
- Identify and rectify malfunctions in production machinery, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Execute precise equipment transitions and adjustments to meet production demands.
- Implement quality control measures, making necessary adjustments to meet product specifications.
- Inspect and sort products, ensuring only those meeting quality standards proceed to the next stage.
- Comply with safety protocols and operational guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.
- Maintain comprehensive records of daily production activities and outcomes.
- Conduct regular maintenance on machinery to prevent operational disruptions.
- Facilitate communication with team members across different shifts to ensure continuity.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to enhance productivity and safety.
- Properly shut down and secure equipment when not in use.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Collaborate with maintenance and manufacturing engineers to support ongoing projects.
- Provide hands-on training to new employees to ensure they meet performance expectations.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Basic literacy, numeracy, and communication skills, typically demonstrated by a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to new technologies.
- Manual dexterity and the ability to operate complex machinery with precision.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
