We are seeking a visionary Quality Systems Director to champion our commitment to excellence in manufacturing thermal management components. This leadership role is central to our operational success, driving quality initiatives that ensure product reliability and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

Quality Leadership

  • Direct the strategic development and execution of our enterprise-wide quality framework
  • Establish and maintain robust quality management systems that exceed industry benchmarks
  • Serve as the primary advocate for quality excellence across all organizational levels

Standards & Compliance

  • Ensure complete adherence to automotive quality standards (IATF 16949) and regulatory requirements
  • Manage internal and external audit processes, implementing corrective actions as needed
  • Maintain documentation systems that demonstrate compliance and facilitate continuous improvement

Process Optimization

  • Lead lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste
  • Analyze production metrics to identify improvement opportunities and implement data-driven solutions
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement that empowers team members at all levels

Technical Oversight

  • Oversee inspection protocols and defect analysis processes
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve product design
  • Develop and maintain statistical process control systems for monitoring production quality

Required Qualifications

Professional Background

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in manufacturing environments with complex quality systems
  • Proven track record of implementing successful quality improvement initiatives
  • Experience with automotive or industrial manufacturing preferred

Technical Expertise

  • Comprehensive knowledge of quality management principles and statistical analysis
  • Familiarity with IATF 16949 requirements and implementation
  • Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, FMEA, etc.)

Leadership Attributes

  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to develop and mentor high-performing quality teams

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related technical field
  • Advanced degrees or certifications in quality management preferred
