Category Management Coordinator


Job Description

As a Category Management Coordinator, you will provide day-to-day administrative, data, and coordination support to the Merchandising team, handling task-oriented responsibilities that require strong judgment, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through and coordination across multiple departments.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage calendars, meeting coordination, agendas, and follow up actions for Category Managers.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain organized digital files, product documentation, and supplier records.
  • Support onboarding of new suppliers, products, and programs.
  • Assist with data collection, validation, and entry for product, pricing, and supplier information.
  • Generate routine and ad hoc reports to support category reviews, supplier evaluations, and performance tracking.
  • Monitor data accuracy across systems (e.g., ERP, PIM, catalog platforms) and flag discrepancies.
  • Serve as a point of contact for supplier inquiries, documentation requests, and administrative needs.
  • Coordinate communication between Category Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, Marketing, Operations, and Sales teams.
  • Coordinate with international suppliers, which may require occasional meetings or communication outside standard business hours.
  • Manage Quality Compliance log and coordinate resolution of quality issues with Operations, Catalog, and Suppliers.
  • Track supplier rebates, deliverables, deadlines, and compliance requirements.
  • Support execution of category initiatives, product launches, and promotional programs.
  • Assist with SKU setup, maintenance, and lifecycle updates.
  • Help streamline workflows, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned as business needs change


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1 year of experience in a similar role (administrative, operations, or support roles)
  • Familiarity with aftermarket collision repair, automotive parts, or distribution environments is beneficial but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and data driven tools.
  • Ability to work cross functionally and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skill
