Job Summary
The Sr. HR Manager must be a trusted advisor to leaders, managers and employees covering all HR functions including, but not limited to, organizational development initiatives, staffing, employee relations, compensation and benefits, development and other people-related initiatives. This role provides local ownership for day-to-day HR while partnering with functional/business leaders across the US.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR leadership for Operations, Sales and Corporate functional groups.
- Recommends and implements HR initiatives that assist the team in meeting annual revenue and profit goals.
- Oversees the recruiting and onboarding process to ensure talent needed for current and future growth.
- Develops employees' abilities and capabilities so they can grow and see a long-term future with the company through mentoring, training and performance management.
- Leads the performance review and compensation process ensuring fair and competitive pay practices that reflect individual contributions to the organization.
- Work with the leadership team on employee engagement initiatives and action planning / follow up.
- Independently develops approaches to address a variety of employee relations issues.
- Ensures company compliance with all existing governmental and labor legal and government reporting.
- Coaches managers in making promotions and pay decisions for staff.
- Coaches managers and staff in completing the performance management process to ensure annual feedback is provided to staff.
- Manages performance plans and development plans for staff
- Identifies and drives programs that result in successful HR metrics: turnover, training & performance
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, along with 7-10 years of HR-related experience.
- 7+ years of progressive professional experience in HR positions, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of all HR functional areas including, onboarding, training and development, organizational design, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and benefits.
- Practices a high level of confidentiality.
- Superior organizational and follow-through skills.
- Exceptional judgment, discretion and professionalism.
- Speaks and writes clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations and demonstrates group presentation skills.
- Experience working in an international manufacturing organization strongly preferred.
- Experience working with UKG strongly preferred.
