Position Summary

We are hiring a Non-CDL Transfer Driver to operate a 26-foot box truck transporting auto parts between warehouse and shipping centers. This role involves overnight driving, touch freight, and strict adherence to delivery schedules and safety standards.

This is an ideal position for experienced box truck drivers who prefer overnight routes, minimal customer interaction, and consistent transfer work.

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate a 26-foot box truck to transfer auto parts between facilities
• Drive overnight routes according to scheduled delivery windows
• Load and unload parts (touch freight) to ensure accurate transfers
• Verify loads are properly secured and balanced before transport
• Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules
• Complete all required delivery paperwork accurately and on time
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues
• Communicate with dispatch to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues
• Maintain a clean, organized truck and work area
• Assist with sorting parts daily as needed

Key Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and Non-CDL 26' box truck experience
• Valid DOT Medical Card, or willing and able to secure one once employed
• Ability to work overnight hours (12:00 AM – 9:00 AM)
• Experience with touch freight and physical unloading
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow routes and schedules
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently
• Familiarity with auto parts or repair industry is a plus

Safety & Compliance

• Vehicles are equipped with dual-facing cameras and GPS monitoring
• Must pass MVR check, background check, and drug screening
• Must follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Frequent sitting while driving with periodic standing and walking
• Overnight driving in varying weather conditions
• Moderate noise levels typical of warehouse and logistics environments
• Ability to safely handle physical freight movement
