Job Description: 

We are looking for a talented Technical Product Manager to work closely with our data science and technology teams. We’re actively creating turnkey behavioral data science products, and looking for a Technical Product Manager to help lead the team in product definition and execution. This is a rare opportunity to get in on the ground-floor of a rapidly growing international startup. As our Technical Product Manager, you will report to the Head of Product and work cross-functionality, with a focus on data science and data engineering. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead product management activities for our data engineering and data science teams, including planning, development, and implementation of new data products
• Facilitate requirement gathering sessions with key stakeholders, with the ability to lead and contribute to technical discussions around data infrastructure and products
• Manage the data product backlog and lead prioritization of projects, balancing the short-term needs with the long-term data platform vision 
• Plan and execute on appropriate documentation and training post-development, translating technical concepts for non-technical users

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of product management experience, including at least 2 years owning data platform or ML-powered products for enterprise software or platform products
• A strong technical foundation – you're comfortable discussing data architecture, pipelines, and data modeling, and you can write SQL to answer your own questions
• A track record of working closely with data scientists and data engineers and earning their trust
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and leading execution in an agile environment with tools like Jira
• Self-motivated, proactive, organized and a willingness to learn (and be taught)
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, unstructured environment
• Eagerness to wear multiple hats and lend a hand to your teammates when called upon
• Experience working on an AWS tech stack is a plus
• A background in insurance is a plus
