Lead Residential Projects from Concept to Completion

Our client, a well-established residential construction company specializing in high-quality custom homes and renovations, is seeking an experienced Residential Construction Project Manager to oversee projects from preconstruction through final completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage residential construction projects from contract execution through final completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, inspectors, architects, and homeowners.
• Monitor project costs and proactively address budget or schedule concerns.
• Ensure all work meets project specifications, quality standards, and applicable building codes.
• Review contracts, change orders, purchase orders, and project documentation.
• Conduct regular job site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients, field personnel, and project stakeholders.
• Manage project documentation using Procore and Microsoft Office.
• Coordinate permitting, inspections, and project closeout activities.
• Identify challenges early and develop practical solutions to keep projects moving forward.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing residential construction projects, preferably custom homes or luxury residential renovations.
• Strong understanding of residential construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and project sequencing.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.
• Ability to work independently while effectively coordinating multiple projects.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience using Procore or similar construction management software preferred.
• Florida Notary Public license preferred, or willingness to obtain immediately upon hire.
• Typing speed of at least 45–50 WPM.
• Marketing or client relations experience is considered a plus.

Requirements

• Must reside in Palm Beach, Martin, or St. Lucie County.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to visit multiple job sites throughout the service area.

Within your first 90 days, you will have successfully assumed responsibility for active residential projects, established productive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors, maintained accurate project documentation, and demonstrated the ability to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
