We are working with a growing BGA looking to hire an experienced Client Manager to continue expanding its (Life & Annuity Insurance platform) through partnerships with Fee Based RIA’s and Wealth Management firms. This role will report directly to the overall Senior Director of Brokerage and will also work closely with the CEO on new Partnership development opportunities. You will focus on developing and fostering these RIA and Wealth Management firm relationships (at the Principal level) while also personally driving Life Insurance cases from design to placement, including assisting with policy reviews, underwriting, etc. You will also work to help develop and refine the overall process and framework of on-boarding new clients to the platform. Our client will be the “Agent of Record” in this scenario.
Experience we are looking for includes:
- Deep knowledge of Life Insurance, Annuity and related planning concepts
- Current/Existing relationships with Fee Based RIAs and Wealth Management Firms
- Hands on experience with Case Design, Policy review and final placement
- Ability to bring on new partnerships with RIA and Wealth Management firms (Sales/Biz Dev)
- Point of Sale experience, working with Fee Based RIAs
- On-boarding processing and implementation of new clients
- Educating Financial Advisors on fundamentals of Life Insurance, Trusts and Planning concepts
- Working closely with internal leaders in Marketing, Product & Operations
- Business development, account management, relationship building
Requires:
- 5-7+ years in a similar role (Client Manager, Brokerage Manager, etc.)
- Proven ability to drive cases from case design, through underwriting and to final placement
- Experience in Sales (point of sale) and Business Development
- Experience as a Relationship/Partnership Manager
- Strong connections to Fee Based RIAs & Wealth Management Firms
- Ability to communicate and work with Sr leaders and Principals
- Clear understanding of how RIA and Wealth Management Firms work with Life Insurance Brokers and partners to allow them to offer Life Insurance planning for their clients thru the BGA
Most important:
- Current relationships with Fee Based RIA’s Wealth Management Firms
- Point of Sale business development experience
- Strong with Life Insurance and Annuity (risk management products)
This is a full-time permanent role offering excellent salary, variable bonus and strong benefits including matching 401k and opportunity to earn equity. OTE is 200k plus benefits.
This is a remote role that will require some occasional travel (10%) to related industry conferences and events.
