New York Licensed Claims Adjusters – Workers’ Compensation

100% Remote | Eastern or Central Time Zones Preferred

Multiple Openings Available

A national insurance organization is actively hiring multiple New York–licensed Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjusters across several experience levels to support growing NY Lost Time claim volume. This is a 100% remote opportunity offering long-term stability, flexibility, and career advancement.

Candidates must hold one of the New York licenses listed below.

Eligible New York License Paths (Must Meet ONE):

New York Adjuster

• Active NY Adjuster license

• Experience handling NY Workers’ Compensation claims

• Ideal for mid-level Lost Time professionals

New York Permanent Floater Adjuster

• Active NY Permanent Floater license

Additional New England licenses or regional experience a plus

• Suited for adjusters supporting expanded jurisdictions

New York Senior Adjuster

• Active NY Senior Adjuster license

• Must include General License or Casualty + No-Fault Licenses

• Designed for senior, complex, and litigated claims

Role Overview:

  • Manage NY Workers’ Compensation Lost Time claims end-to-end
  • Determine compensability, establish reserves, and authorize payments
  • Coordinate with medical providers, employers, attorneys, and case managers
  • Negotiate settlements and manage litigation as needed
  • Ensure compliance with NY WC regulations and client guidelines

Experience Snapshot:

  • 3+ years NY WC Lost Time experience
  • 5+ years preferred for senior-level consideration
  • Strong jurisdictional knowledge and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
