An insurance carrier is seeking an ATTORNEY (REMOTE) based in Houston or Dallas with 6-8+ years of experience defending personal injury cases. The candidate must have experience handling personal or commercial auto negligence cases, as all cases will involve defending our client's insureds, who will consist solely of trucking companies and their drivers. The candidate must also have taken multiple depositions of both liability and damages experts and defended corporate representative depositions. No first-party property work is required.

This position is completely remote, and no billing is required. 

Our client does not micromanage.  They are seeking a strong candidate who can work independently and remotely with a team that includes a 1:1 legal assistant-to-attorney ratio, as well as a paralegal. All paralegals currently working at our client's office can prepare medical chronologies and summaries and deal with disclosures and discovery.
