A rated Workers Compensation carrier is looking for a Claims Supervisor for their Austin office. This individual will oversee 7 people - 6 Lost TIme Adjusters and 1 claims assistant. This person will bring medical knowledge and specialized expertise in medical management. You will have a comprehensive understanding of musculoskeletal injuries, orthopedic conditions, pain management, surgical procedures, diagnostic imaging, pharmacy management, and rehabilitative medicine. This person will ensure injured workers receive appropriate and quality medical care and this care must be consistent with the highest standards of workers' compensation best practices.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of claim processing following the Texas Workers' Compensation Act
• Provide guidance to staff regarding claim handling and desired outcomes.
• Recruit, retain and coach employees.
• Contribute to the development of division goals, procedures, and budgets.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 4 plus years of workers compensation claims experience with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Texas workers' compensation or all lines adjuster's license.

This is a hybrid position, working in the office at least once a week.
