We are seeking an experienced Sr. Claims Examiner – Workers’ Compensation for a long-term contract opportunity. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who can independently manage complex claims while driving efficient, cost-effective outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret policy coverages and make independent decisions on complex and non-routine claims
• Manage all aspects of investigations for complex workers’ compensation claims
• Direct litigation and discovery strategies in partnership with legal counsel
• Analyze claim activity and prepare detailed reports for clients, carriers, and management
• Establish and manage reserves using sound judgment; authorize payments within authority limits
• Ensure timely and accurate claim settlements and disbursements
• Identify and pursue subrogation and third-party recovery opportunities
• Participate in claim reviews and provide strategic insights

Qualifications:

• 4–8 years of workers’ compensation claims handling experience or similar
• Strong background in technical claims investigation and settlement
• Active Workers’ Compensation Adjuster License (per jurisdiction requirements)
