Questpro is currently seeking candidates for an open Manager/Team Lead for the (inforce) Policyholder Services area of a Life and Annuity Insurance company. You will lead a small team of 6-8 inforce operations specialists. 2-3+ years of Management or Team Leader experience is required. Strong ability to manage to the corporate KPI’s and SLA’s is also required. Product experience with Life Insurance and/or Annuities is required.
This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of policy changes, surrenders, loan value requests, disbursements, conversions, 1035 exchanges, etc. while also fostering a culture of top notch customer service and operational excellence. This role reports to the overall Director of Operations. Will not lead the Billing area, which is separate.
Essential responsibilities include:
Team management: Coaching, training, process, procedure, workflow, performance evaluations, HR issues. Fostering a culture of accountability.
Policy Servicing: Oversight of all policy change requests, conversions, 1035 exchanges, loan value requests, financial and tax related transactions, disbursements, surrenders, withdrawals.
Compliance: Ensure the team is adhering to all regulations and corporate policies, support audits, etc
Operations: Tracking daily performance metrics, managing to all KPI and SLA metrics, reporting to sr leadership, improve process and procedure, project management, escalations.

This is an on site, in office hybrid role with 3 days in office and 2 days work from home with full PTO and holiday schedule. Location is Washington DC area.
