The VP of Finance will lead all financial activities, from strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting to risk management and reporting, while also advising the CEO and executive team on financial health, growth, and investment opportunities, ensuring fiscal responsibility and driving business objectives.
Key duties include overseeing accounting, managing cash flow, setting financial goals, analyzing financial data, and supporting investor relations, balancing daily operations with long-term financial strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management: Overseeing all fiscal activities, including accounting, budgeting, forecastingfinancial performance, cash flow optimization, and treasury functions.
Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and maintaining strict compliance with regulations such as GAAP/IFRS, SEC filings, state insurance and tax laws.
Management Reporting: Develop and provide real-time business scorecards and reports. Provide recommendations to the executive team on opportunities and threats.
Risk Management: Implement frameworks, identify and mitigate financial, operational, and cybersecurity risks to protect the company's assets.
Stakeholder Relations: Supporting investors, board members, and financial institutions to communicate the company's financial health.
Technology & Innovation: Leading digital transformation initiatives, such as the adoption of AI-driven forecasting and advanced data analytics.
Leadership & Management: Manage finance and accounting partnerships, setting performance standards.
Strategic Guidance: Offer commercial insight, analyze financial strengths/weaknesses, and advise on investments, capital structure, and mergers/acquisitions.
Investor Relations: Support on investor communications and ensure partnership compliance.
