Personal Lines Account Manager

Location: St. Petersburg, FL area

Position Overview

A growing independent insurance agency is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to join their team. This is a newly created position due to agency growth.

Book/Team Structure

Account managers oversee approximately $2,500,000–$3,000,000 in premium on a per-person basis (team total book around $10,000,000). Each account manager is supported by a junior account manager handling mid-term service work, a billing manager, and a centralized rating team that manages renewal re-rates — allowing for a built-in training pipeline.

Systems

Agency runs its AMS on Salesforce.

Licensing/Experience Requirements

• 4-40 license required (minimum)
• 2-20 or 20-44 license preferred
• 2+ years of personal lines experience (agency or carrier background)

Compensation

• Base salary: $60,000
• Bonus: $15,000–$30,000 annually, based on book size, retention, and multi-line production

Work Arrangement

Open to in-office, hybrid, or remote depending on candidate qualifications. Highly qualified candidates with minimal training needs will have flexibility on location; candidates who may need more ramp-up/training support will lean toward office-based or hybrid arrangements.
