Job Title: Texas Workers’ Compensation Lost Time Adjuster

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)

Assignment Type: Temporary (4–6 Months)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Texas Workers’ Compensation Lost Time Adjuster to support our client on a temporary basis. This role will be responsible for managing a caseload of lost time claims from inception through resolution, ensuring compliance with Texas jurisdictional requirements and delivering high-quality claim handling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a full caseload of Texas Workers’ Compensation lost time claims
  • Investigate, evaluate, and adjust claims in accordance with Texas guidelines
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of all claim activity
  • Establish appropriate reserves and manage claim costs effectively
  • Coordinate with medical providers, attorneys, employers, and injured workers
  • Ensure compliance with all state regulations and client-specific requirements
  • Provide regular status updates and reports as needed

Qualifications:

  • Active Texas Workers’ Compensation Adjuster License (required)
  • 3+ years of experience handling Texas lost time claims
  • Strong knowledge of Texas WC rules, regulations, and procedures
  • Experience managing claims from inception to closure
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid schedule (combination of remote and in-office in Austin, TX)

Assignment Details:

  • Duration: 4–6 months
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Hours: Full-time (standard business hours)

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with multiple claim systems
  • Prior experience working with TPAs or insurance carriers
  • Strong negotiation and settlement skills
