Workers' Compensation Claims Supervisor – California

Questpro is partnered with an A-rated carrier seeking a Claims Supervisor to oversee workers' compensation claims across multiple state jurisdictions, with a focus on California. This role manages a team of adjusters, ensures accurate reserving and claim resolution, and drives high-quality, service-oriented claims handling.

What You'll Do

• Oversee investigation, analysis, and resolution of workers' compensation claims across multiple jurisdictions
• Review and monitor reserve accuracy throughout the life of each claim
• Supervise and evaluate an adjusting team, including performance reviews, training, and mentoring of new hires
• Approve settlement evaluations, resolution plans, and vendor assignments within authority
• Provide oversight of Third Party Administrator relationships and vendor/attorney performance
• Manage hearing logs and ensure no hearings are missed
• Support subrogation investigation and pursuit against responsible parties
• Ensure compliance with insurance laws, regulations, and internal documentation standards

What You Need

• Valid Workers' Compensation multi-state adjuster license, including California
• Minimum 10 years of workers' compensation claims handling experience, including multi-state supervisory experience
• National claims handling/compliance exposure preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
• Industry designations such as AIC or AIS preferred
