Founding Head of Premium Finance – Texas

Location: Remote – Texas (DFW, Houston or San Antonio)

Travel: Regular travel throughout Texas

We’re seeking an entrepreneurial premium finance professional to launch and lead our growing Texas market. This is an opportunity for an experienced industry professional with established agency relationships to build a book of business from the ground up, shape the strategy, and grow a premium finance operation with meaningful ownership potential.

With technology, operational infrastructure, and support already in place, you’ll have the autonomy to focus on agency relationships, business development, and long-term growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop agency and broker relationships across Texas, focusing initially on DFW and Houston.
• Originate new business and build a profitable book of premium finance accounts.
• Manage relationships from initial quote through renewal.
• Educate agency partners on premium finance solutions.
• Identify opportunities for complementary financing and workforce solutions.
• Help shape sales strategy, pricing, processes, and future team development.

Qualifications

• Several years of premium finance origination experience in Texas.
• Established insurance agency and broker relationships.
• Proven ability to build a book of business from scratch.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort with early-stage business risk and equity compensation.
• Strong relationship-building and business development skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout Texas.
• Leadership experience and retail/E&S knowledge are preferred.

Compensation & Opportunity

• Base salary plus commission.
