TEMP CA Workers’ Compensation Claims Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Claims Assistant for a long-term, indefinite temporary assignment.

Position Details

• Fully remote
• Part-time, 20 hours per week
• Monday through Friday
• $25–$30 per hour
• Candidate must provide their own computer equipment and cell phone

Responsibilities

• Process new workers’ compensation claims and notices
• Enter and maintain accurate claim information
• Review medical and wage documentation
• Assist adjusters with correspondence, follow-up, and statutory filings
• Monitor deadlines and escalate complex or litigated claims
• Prepare reports and maintain organized claim files

Qualifications

• At least two years of workers’ compensation claims support or related experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Familiarity with claims management systems
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
