Questpro is partnering with a boutique, nationally recognized workers’ compensation medical bill review organization seeking an experienced WC Medical Bill Review Specialist for a flexible remote opportunity.
This role is ideal for a highly analytical professional with deep workers’ compensation bill review expertise who enjoys independent work and delivering defensible savings on complex claims.
Position Overview
This opportunity averages approximately 10 hours per week initially, with potential for expanded hours or long-term/full-time conversion as business needs grow.
Key Responsibilities
• Review complex workers’ compensation medical bills, records, and itemized statements
• Identify savings opportunities below fee schedule and UCR levels
• Perform coding and clinical analysis including CPT, HCPCS, ICD, and MUE edits
• Ensure all reductions are clearly documented, defensible, and appeal-ready
• Communicate professionally with providers regarding billing discrepancies
• Navigate bill review platforms efficiently and independently
Qualifications
• 3+ years of dedicated workers’ compensation bill review experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated history of achieving meaningful, defensible savings
• RN, LPN, or LVN credentials preferred but not required
• Experience with CompIQ or comparable bill review systems
• Strong analytical, documentation, and compliance skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight

Compensation & Work Requirements
• Competitive hourly compensation of $65–$85/hour based on experience and proven results
• Flexible weekly schedule averaging approximately 10 hours
