Liability Claims Adjuster

Location: Louisiana (Hybrid/Remote options; candidates from surrounding states considered)

We’re Looking For:

• 4–5+ years’ experience as a desk adjuster handling liability claims (2+ years litigation experience ideal)
• Experience adjusting Louisiana claims preferred, with strong understanding of coverage issues
• Proactive, organized, continuous learner with Type-A personality and process improvement mindset
• Strong communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills
• Familiarity with hospital/healthcare clients a plus
• Ability to work independently, with professional home office, and flexibility for initial onsite training + occasional site visits

Core Responsibilities:

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and close liability claims
• Consult with clients on coverage, strategy, and claim resolution
• Coordinate with defense counsel and internal teams
• Conduct client claim reviews, mediations, and presentations
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA and company policies
• Aggressively manage litigation process and drive resolution efficiently
