POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for a seasoned writer to craft clear, persuasive, and engaging content tailored to various audiences—including distribution partners, long-term customers, and potential new clients. This role is responsible for shaping and maintaining a consistent brand voice across all platforms while acting as the lead editor for the department. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of creativity and precision to every project, ensuring materials are both compelling and compliant.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Produce high-quality written content for digital and print channels, such as web pages, social media posts, email campaigns, brochures, and member-focused publications.
- Partner with designers, marketers, and cross-functional teams to develop creative concepts and execute integrated campaigns.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to guide content development from initial idea through final delivery, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
- Research and analyze audience demographics, competitor activity, and industry trends to create messaging that resonates and drives results.
- Translate complex product or service information into accessible, reader-friendly language while maintaining accuracy and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
- Apply search engine optimization techniques to improve digital reach and engagement.
- Establish and document writing standards that reinforce a unified brand identity across all communications.
- Review and refine content created by colleagues to ensure clarity, consistency, and grammatical accuracy.
- Leverage performance data to refine messaging and improve content effectiveness.
- Use project tracking tools to organize workloads, meet deadlines, and facilitate team collaboration.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

- At least three to five years of professional writing experience, ideally within a regulated sector such as banking, insurance, or healthcare.
- A portfolio demonstrating the ability to develop creative concepts and execute them through impactful copy.
- Familiarity with the terminology and nuances of financial products or similar service-based offerings.
- Proven ability to position and describe products in a way that appeals to target audiences.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the flexibility to adjust tone and style for different platforms and readerships.
