Title: Internal Wholesaler / Inside Sales Support

Summary: The internal Wholesaler will support external and regional sales directors and financial advisors by providing product expertise, driving sales through proactive outreach (calls/virtual meetings), creating marketing campaigns, designing cases, training advisors, managing territories, and using CRM (like Salesforce) to track activities. This role will focus on Life Insurance products of all kinds as well as Annuity, but Life is the focus. This role is with a top rated BGA, so experience working with multiple carriers is a plus.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Support: Act as an internal subject matter expert on annuity products, features, and competitive landscape; handle product questions, rate inquiries, and large case support via phone/virtual meetings.
  • Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with financial advisors, agents, and internal partners (underwriting, marketing).
  • Territory Management: Collaborate on territory plans, identify opportunities, and follow up on leads generated by external partners or marketing.
  • Marketing & Campaigns: Coordinate and execute marketing initiatives, call campaigns, and sales activities with the external team.
  • Case Design: Assist with advanced case design, illustrations, and proposals to fit client needs.
  • Activity Tracking: Document all field interactions and sales activity in the firm's CRM ( Salesforce, etc.) 
  • Proactive Outreach: Initiate daily sales calls to strengthen relationships, provide support, and drive the sales process forward. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred, not required
  • Active L&H license is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Life Insurance products and retirement planning concepts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Goal-oriented, highly organized, and adept at working in a fast-paced environment.
