The Opportunity

Questpro is leading the search for a Chief Executive Officer to lead an established IME and medical-legal services organization into its next phase of growth.

This is a true CEO opportunity for a proven IME operations leader ready to take the top seat — with direct responsibility for business strategy, operational performance, financial results, and long-term growth.

Whether you're a senior executive ready to step into your first CEO role or an IME entrepreneur ready for your next venture, this is an opportunity to put your industry expertise and leadership experience to work at the enterprise level.

Working directly with the current owner through a planned transition, you'll lead the business, drive performance, capitalize on growth opportunities, and shape its future direction.

A compelling executive compensation package and relocation assistance to Southern California make this an opportunity worth serious consideration.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Growth

  • Establish and execute the company's strategic vision, growth priorities, and long-term business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to expand services, develop new markets, strengthen client relationships, and increase revenue.
  • Evaluate strategic partnerships, service-line expansion, and other opportunities to enhance the company's market position.
  • Translate business strategy into measurable operating goals and sustainable financial results.

Operational & Financial Management

  • Lead overall business operations, service delivery, quality, and organizational performance.
  • Assume accountability for financial performance, including revenue, profitability, budgets, and operating results.
  • Establish KPIs, performance standards, and management processes that support efficiency, scalability, and accountability.
  • Optimize resources, workflows, and infrastructure to support continued growth.

Commercial & Industry Leadership

  • Strengthen relationships with clients, physician networks, referral sources, and industry partners.
  • Leverage deep IME market knowledge to identify business opportunities and respond to evolving client needs.
  • Partner with commercial leadership to drive business development, client retention, and revenue growth.
  • Represent the organization within the broader workers' compensation and medical-legal marketplace.

People Leadership & Business Continuity

  • Lead, develop, and empower the management team while building organizational depth and accountability.
  • Foster a high-performance culture grounded in collaboration, sound judgment, and operational excellence.
  • Partner with the current owner to facilitate a successful leadership transition.
  • Build the leadership structure, processes, and capabilities needed to support the company's next stage of development.

Required Qualifications

  • Direct, progressive operational leadership experience within the IME industry is required.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex IME operations, teams, and service delivery with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Experience overseeing business performance, budgets, and financial outcomes, with the capability to assume full P&L accountability.
  • Strong understanding of the IME and medical-legal services marketplace, including client expectations, physician networks, and industry dynamics.
  • Proven ability to improve operational performance, develop leaders, and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to identify growth opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and drive sustainable business results.
  • Executive-level communication, decision-making, and relationship management skills.
  • Willingness to relocate to Southern California.

Prior CEO experience is not required. Candidates may come from senior operational leadership roles or prior IME business ownership, provided they bring the direct leadership experience, business acumen, and readiness to lead an entire organization.

What's Offered

  • Attractive executive compensation and financial incentives commensurate with the scope and impact of the role.
  • Relocation package to support a move to Southern California.
  • The opportunity to lead an established IME organization with direct influence over strategy, operations, and growth.
  • A planned transition in partnership with the current owner.
  • Significant leadership responsibility and the opportunity to shape the company's long-term direction.
