We’re looking for an experienced Senior Liability Adjuster to manage complex General Liability claims from initial investigation through resolution. The ideal candidate has a strong background in New York liability claims, experience handling litigated matters, and the ability to independently assess exposure, develop claim strategies, and negotiate favorable settlements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage New York General Liability claims from inception through resolution.
• Investigate claims, evaluate liability and damages, establish reserves, and develop resolution strategies.
• Oversee litigated and non-litigated claims while coordinating with defense counsel.
• Negotiate settlements and resolve claims within assigned authority.
• Handle a variety of exposures, including premises liability, construction and contractor claims, building/condo/co-op liability, slip-and-falls, and general accidents.
• Maintain thorough claim documentation and communicate effectively with insureds, attorneys, brokers, and other stakeholders.

Qualified candidates should possess the following:

• 8 -10+ years of liability claims adjusting experience.
• Strong background in New York General Liability claims.
• Active New York Adjuster License required.
• Experience managing complex and litigated liability claims, including premises, construction, contractor, and property-related liability exposures.
• Strong investigative, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage a high-complexity caseload and drive claims toward resolution.
