Employee Benefits Executive Account Manager
We are seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Executive Account Manager to support and grow client relationships while delivering strategic employee benefits solutions. This hybrid role combines account management and account executive responsibilities, partnering closely with Producers and clients to manage benefit programs, renewals, compliance, and overall service strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain employee benefits client accounts
- Lead annual renewals, including marketing, carrier negotiations, and plan analysis
- Prepare and present proposals, renewal strategies, and open enrollment materials
- Provide guidance on employee benefits compliance including ACA, ERISA, COBRA, and HIPAA
- Support client retention and identify opportunities for additional services and coverage solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional service and timely account management
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and new business initiatives
Qualifications
- 7+ years of employee benefits insurance experience
- Active California Life & Health License required
- Strong knowledge of medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefits
- Professional designation such as CEBS, RHU, or REBC preferred, or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication, analytical, and relationship management skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office; AMS360 and ImageRight preferred
