Auto Loss Control Representative

The Senior Representative evaluates risk exposures, assesses the adequacy of existing mitigation and operational safety procedures, and provides policyholders with strategic improvements. A critical component of this role is collaborating with agents and policyholders to mitigate risks and educating stakeholders on the importance of prompt claims reporting procedures.


Work Environment

This is a home-based position requiring the candidate to independently schedule daily appointments. The role includes a company-furnished vehicle, laptop, mobile phone, and all necessary tools for effective remote management. Overnight travel is required depending on the assigned territory.


Job Responsibilities

•                   Risk Evaluation: Utilize technical expertise to evaluate insured operations and prepare comprehensive commercial auto loss control surveys and vehicle inspection reports.

•                   Data Analysis: Analyze CAB and Safer reports to identify key drivers of risk scores for prospective and existing accounts.

•                   Loss Mitigation: Present formal recommendations to policyholders to reduce risk exposure and improve account loss ratios.

•                   Reporting: Identify and report unacceptable risk exposures to Underwriting and Senior Management; provide recommendations to ensure compliance with companies Commercial Auto Underwriting Guidelines.

•                   Business Development: Support organizational growth by marketing services to companies agency network.


Requirements & Qualifications

•                   Experience: 5+ years in Commercial Auto Claims, Loss Control, or a related field.

•                   Licensure: Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

•                   Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in DOT / FMCSR codes is preferred. Ability to analyze policyholder loss runs to identify trends in claims frequency and severity.

•                   Communication: Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are essential.

•                   Organization: Proven ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a remote environment.


Bilingual Skills: Fluency in English and Spanish is a significant advantage
