Sales Engineer | Medicare Compliance SME | Workers' Compensation 
Job Description
We are seeking an inquisitive, motivated, personable and team-oriented “Medicare Compliance” Sales Engineer to join us and play a critical role in supporting our Account Executives (AEs) and in driving sales in the insurance market for casualty claims.  We are looking for an expert in “MSA” who can represent our solutions as an industry expert during customer visits, trade conferences, and in published industry articles as well as LinkedIn, podcasts or other thought leadership outlets.
What You'll Do:
  • Continue to be inquisitive in the market and expand knowledge as an industry thought leader in casualty claims.
  • Utilize social media accounts such as LinkedIn® to promote as appropriate.
  • Engage externally with clients and prospects as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our MSA product portfolio, staying up to date on features, functionality, and competitor offerings.
  • Develop clients contacts in the casualty market and promote claim servicing by to customers and prospects, including driving volume of work through existing contracts.
  • Partner with AEs throughout the sales cycle, proactively identifying opportunities to nurture leads, move opportunities forward and close deals.
  • Provide ongoing sales support to AEs throughout the sales cycle, including documentation, follow up materials, research, analysis and sales cycle reporting.
  • Craft and deliver compelling product presentations, focusing on the value proposition and ROI for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Answer colleague and customer questions about product features, benefits, and technical specifications.
  • Travel with or without AEs to customer locations for in-person demos and presentations, promotional meetings, customer dinners or other events as appropriate.
  • Attend industry tradeshows and conferences as needed, providing industry expertise as content for presentations and demonstrations.
  • Contribute to industry-published articles and provide content/review of materials needed by marketing.
  • Gather product and general feedback about Company’s products, position and perception in the market and share with other Company’s leaders and sales team members.
  • Provide regular activity and account reporting to Verisk leaders through SalesForce.com and other reporting tools as needed.
Qualifications
  • Established Industry expert for MSA within the Casualty | Workers' Compensation lines 
  • CMSP designation or equivalent preferred
  • Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with product demonstrations and presentations a must.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the skills to tailor your message to different audiences.
  • Ability to break down complex technical concepts and explain them concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to wow audiences in trade show/conference environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft® PowerPoint, SalesForce.com, and Teams.
  • A results-oriented mindset with the ability to carry a sales quota and excel in a complex sales cycle.
  • Ability to contribute to written and/or recorded marketing pieces with industry expertise.
  • Ability to travel within the U.S. typically 5 – 8 days per month.
