Location: Rocklin, CA / Hybrid – 3 days in office / 2 days remote
Salary Range: $28.00 – $34.00 per hour
About This Role:
The Temporary Risk Control Support Specialist provides administrative and operational support to the Risk Control Department. This role coordinates digital workflows, manages communications, supports client and broker interactions, and maintains accurate tracking of Risk Control services and follow-ups to ensure continuity of service during a temporary leave.
This position does not perform field work, risk assessments, or safety consulting. The focus is on coordination, documentation, communication, and system support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities for the position include the items listed below. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
· Manage the Risk Control (RC) inbox, respond to routine inquiries, and route requests appropriately.
· Conduct outbound client contact for scheduling, follow-ups, and document requests.
· Maintain and update RC tracking spreadsheets and internal logs.
· Upload and organize documents in internal systems (e.g., CompSuite) and shared drives.
· Track recommendations, follow-ups, and service status to support renewal readiness.
· Assist with LMS enrollments, training coordination, and basic reporting.
· Prepare basic reports and summaries for internal use.
· Answer broker and policyholder questions (non-technical) related to Risk Control services.
· Provide additional administrative and coordination support to the Risk Control Manager as needed.
· Structure, organize, and maintain electronic filing system for the RC Department.

Education/Experience:
· General administrative experience required.
· Insurance administrative experience preferred (workers’ compensation a plus).
Prior risk control, loss control, safety, or compliance support experience is desirable.
